A very warm feeling.
A very warm feeling.
banana: that's good! I know you feel the cold.
Dear, you harken to a better time, when people not only read John Donne, but could quote him, as well.
Cheers.
Randall: I find poetry and lovely countryside soothing.
Just come in from a grey miserable afternoon, it's almost dark already. Lovely pic, my acers are falling rapidly. Listening to Clannad - Theme from Harry's game -music also does it for me.
Polly: how about a crumpet simply ooooozing with butter? My husband still eats them!
Oh gosh, you must be a mind reader, I bought some yesterday, first time for ages. Mmmm love them dripping - don't you eat them then? My hubby goes for the mug of hot chocolate on cold days.
Polly: my weakness is a sweet tooth butlove all good nosh!
From a distance, that almost looks like a red Japanese maple. Due to the warm autumn, some in our area still have leaves - poor things will get all confuddled.
I prefer hot buttered toast on a cold wet windy day. That, draped in the duvet, with hot tea in arms reach, the fire on low and complete control of the remotes

Sim: I took this photo yesterday and today the leaves are still there but the colour has lightened and brightened from its more normal dark red.
The last bit of your comment sounds like bliss!
