Pat, a thing I've noticed about you is that you can be perched anywhere, on a chair, on a rock on a windy mountain, and you always look perfectly poised and unflustered whereas those around you look like they're being blown away or about to tip off. Must be all that model training!
It must have been difficult for theseGermans to come to Bitain so soon after the war. Even when I was growing up the Germans and Japanese were regarded with suspicion. It's nice you could make it fun for them. These sorts of things are always far more revealing about a people than the headlines. It's harder to shoot someone from a country you've loved.
Sam: I never actually had any model training. Thank goodness it was mainly photographic. I have never been able to walk in a straight line and would have fallen off any cat-walk. It's more a kind of dopiness or dreaminess if you're being kind.
