...and a poem

Ring out the old, ring in the new,
Ring, happy bells, across the snow:
The year is going, let him go;
Ring out the false, ring in the true.
Ring out old shapes of foul disease;
Ring out the narrowing lust of gold;
Ring out the thousand wars of old,
Ring in the thousand years of peace.
Alfred Lord Tennyson

God bless you all

Happy New Year and a piece of coal.

Wouldn't it be lovely if we could ring in a thousand years of peace? Perhaps peace is a state of mind.

Wishing you and your angel-devil a joy filled, peaceful New Year, XXX

I can't think of a more fitting poem, one of my few favorites. Happy New Year to you, YTL, and your family as we set out on a new one.

And thank you for the beautiful card.
