It's beginning to look a bit like Christmas
The tree is starting to show it's age- it's actualy moulting
The crib scene before Angel Gabriel got at the sherry
It happens every year - nobody's perfect.

Our Angel G flies off the crib every year, usually when I'm on my own! This year it happened to the girls, scared the stuffing out of them! It doesn't just fall off, it flies across the room! Angels eh? :¬)

You just can't beat a good blanket of snow this time of year. Nothing like it. And I like your Charlie Brown tree very much. It shows character.
Mapstew: now why doesn't mine fly? Is it because I'm not catholic? I have a rosary on my bed and still keep my gran's crucifix.
UB: Well you could say it's experienced if not stable.
Beautiful, snowy photos.
As for the decorations, I finally got the tree today. I'd not been in the mood, but my daughter came home from university last night and threatened me, because I'd not purchased the tree. Thus, this morning, I was off.
I hope you're nice and warm, dear.
Cheers.
I was wondering when you were going to put this up, but I thought maybe you were busy taking care of the patient.
Are you sure it wasn't you with the sherry, Pat? ;-)
Randall: I'm with your daughter. How outrageous that you hadn't got the tree. Like my son and his daughter - you are as putty in her hands:)
GG: A lesson I have learned is to keep well away from the sherry;)
I'm not Catholic meself Pat, (There's just the 2 Catholics in our house, Mrs, and the youngest. The rest of us are pagans!) Maybe that's why Gabe keeps flying at me! :¬)

A very merry Gabriel to you.
We have had some of the white stuff too, love your snowy pics.
Mastew: I like mixed households - much more interesting. Never say never;)
LOM: We certainly have a merry Gabriel - and the same to you dear.
It must be lovely to be able to put the presents under the tree. We dare not because the cats tend to rip the paper and have been known to pee on the parcels. . . . .
It's all looking very festive and bright, Pat. Someone has to hit the sherry, so I'm glad Angel Gabriel is playing along.
Sandy: the little varmints!
Eryl: I once went to a lecture on fortified wines and apparently sherry should only be kept for a month or two. As it's not my bag some of ours has reached its majority.
Love that old cigar box, Pat. Thanks for posting it. Yes, the angel does look like she's had a little too much of that Christmas cheer, she must have some hidden that even you do not know about..??
Merry Christmas and I love that snow..
