It's strange to see snow on all that green! Over here, all the leaves are long gone, so the snow doesn't stick to trees and pushes unless they be evergreen.
It looks lovely!
Ponita: I suppose most of the hedges and bushes are evergreen - there's a lot of bay and quite a few pine trees but then there is an ginormous ilex which drops billions of leaves on the lawn.
Beautiful. I love the open gate - very inviting.
Gorgeous pretty pictures, and I love the idea of you out in your dressing gown snapping away! Glad you're staying in today. Me too. Good day for it.
Wonderful Photo, The gate with snow is perfect ! All you need is a wreath on it with a red bow or a lighted star and you have next years Christmas card !
cheers, parsnip
Baglady: We left it open for our help but the snow foiled her.
Queenie: I felt very daring because it's a huge, sloppy, comfy dressing gown - not meant to be seen by any other than the closest of family.
We haven't done the goodie treats shopping yet and I've been sans kir for a week. Hardships ahead!
Parsnip: I've got the wreath now where's that pesky lighted star?
Is it hushed? How does the whole place 'sound' when there's snow all around?
It's so beautiful.
GG: Oddly enough it's the silence that tells you that there is snow before you open the curtains. The silence can be deafening.
Lovely pictures.
Is this the bit where I tell you off for going out in the cold in your nightie when you've not been well? You take care of yourself girl.
Kevin: It does sound foolhardy but it felt quite warm, I was well wrapped up and was ultra careful and quick. Thank you for caring.xox
INCREDIBLE! It truly does look a lot like Christmas as pictured in all those Beautiful Wintry Scenes on Christmas Cards. But...Enough is Enough...Yes, My Dear Pat?
But it can look Beautiful.
