You're so kind and thoughtful, Pat, you remind me of my mother-in-law who once spent Christmas eve working in a soup kitchen then sleeping rough. She thought we should all know what that felt like. And she still got back on Christmas morning to cook the lunch before dashing back out to the soup kitchen.
Glad you'll have your traditional Christmas fare. Do let us know what the Queen says, I know I'll miss it, X
Happy Christmas, dear friend! You are a constant delight and support I've come to depend on when things seem bleak on the plantation. All the best to you and yours. xoxoxxo
That's a shockingly moving rendition of Wild Horses!
Happy to Christmas to you and your family! Thanks for all the wonderful comments.
And to you dear Scarlet. Pat's certainly up - on her computer - when she should be doing other things.
Savannah: the feeling is mutual - a valued part of blogging life. The trouble with these occasions - one ends up repeating oneself but I can't over wish good things for you and your family.xoxoxox
UB: did you cry?
All best wishes and I enjoy your blog enormously;)
Eryl: Your MIL sounds great. I might do the first part but then wouldn't be able to do the second part.
I think we'll eat after her Maj's speech - otherwise I'll sleep through it and that would be so rude when she's gone to all that trouble. I believe she's wearing purple and nobody does it better.
Wonderful selections to warm our hearts for the Merry Christmas Season. Thank you Pat and Happy Holidays to your and yours.
Have a cozy evening and a good meal with YTL.
Cheers.
Wishing you the very best :)
A big, big Maply hug & kiss for you dear Pat! 'MWAH'! Happy Christmas to you & himself! :¬)

I've been there, when I lived away from home, in the Caribbean. But then I made friends with some amazing people. Just one kind person, that's all it takes.
I'm off to listen to your tunes.
GG: I think you would make friends wherever you went:)
