Lovely Day contd.
The other thing I didn't notice was this poster which my photographer son had made from a photo he took on our walking trip last year.
It's waterproof and everything;)

What was the first thing you didn't notice?
Oh I've got it now!
I couldn't see the previous post just now, but now I can.
Andrew.M: I knew blogger would probably reverse them although I published them in the right order. What can you do?
It sounds like the perfect party. Thanks for letting us peek in.
Cheers.
You are most definately "umpty-something" years young, dear Pat. What happy celebrations you've had with dear family around.
I raise my glass of Sauvignon Blanc to you, sending care and huggles,
Michelle in Wellington, NZ, xxx
I hope I look as good as you when I reach sixty, let alone eighty!
Glad you had a wonderful birthday!

Octenius Dontmentionous! Brilliant!
Randolph: you're very welcome:)
Mickle: cheers and thank you;)
Scarlet: it's the clean living that does it.
Daphne: well spotted!
WV Patyr.
Clean living? Surely you mean not-getting-caught living... :)
Kim: cheeky young whipper snapper!
Brilliant poster! What a lovely day.
I have to copy that picture and "lighten" it--I cannot see what it is....Old Eyes...UGH!
Looks like a fabulous time, love the pictures and OMG ! I so agree with Scarlet Blue and I wish I looked as good as you do at any age !
Why can't you get Cream de Cassis in Minehead ?
cheers...
Lovely. And with that glass of wine in your hand it could be a campaign for the wine marketing board.
Naomi: it's a photo my younger son took when we were in Devon last year. It will enlarge if you click on it.
Parsnip: no demand I expect. I could order it from Tesco but it would mean ordering a vast amount. I now have two bottles which will last me for months. I just have a smidgeon in a glass of wine.
Gadjo: and they could pay me in wine:)
Leigh: it really was. Deep sigh!
What wonderful pictures - thanks for sharing your happy day with us. And I love the poster.
You look fabulous! What a lovely thoughtful gift to get.
Please share your beauty secrets?
Dove should contact you, for sure!
A poster portrait--I like it, and I like the idea of it.
And thank you for keeping Mr Ayres in line.
That picture was a good idea.
You *** sauce.
Z: I'm lucky to have at least four who don't mind me using their photos. I wasn't asked about the poster:)
Anna: I'm wondering which gift. I had so many:)
GG: I blame Mum and Dad:)
Charlie: I think it is now going up in the attic and hope it works like Dorian Grey's.
Shane: give me a hint at least.
Charlie: re Kim - somebody has to;)
