If it takes forever I will wait for you
For a thousand summers I will wait for you
Till you're back beside me, till I'm holding you
Till I hear you sigh here in my arms

Anywhere you wander, anywhere you go
Every day remember how I love you so
In your heart believe what in my heart I know
That forevermore I'll wait for you

The clock will tick away the hours one by one
Then the time will come when all the waiting's done
The time when you return and find me here and run
Straight to my waiting arms

If it takes forever I will wait for you
For a thousand summers I will wait for you
Till you're here beside me, till I'm touching you
And forevermore sharing your love

The words are beautiful, Pat, and they came true for you and YTL.

And I KNOW, at the end of the movie, that they still loved each other ...

Charlie: they did Charlie - of course they did.

Eryl: highly unlikely it would happen and unlikely I would have a say but in wildest dreams have given it some thought and choosing from current actresses and having seen her in 'True Blood' - Anna Paquin.

Savannah: so glad you liked it:)

Lovely sentiments indeed. Would that we all could have them said about us.

Madame D: mine the gap;)
Just once in a lifetime would be nice, but we have to remember many men think it without actually putting it into words. Bless 'em!

My daughters know that song as the 'Mom's getting tired of waiting for the bathroom' song. Maybe someday they'll see the movie and get the romance!

Mary: that's very funny;)
