It's being so cheerful...
Autumn tints from the garden
And all these leaves will fall - on my lawn.
Mum's acer - which was meant to be shoulder height, is glowing.

Yes, Autumn is finally on the turn! Be late, but starting to look pretty.
Btw, I am still blogging and have permanently moved to
www.wonky-words.com.

Scarlet: very glad to hear it but so far can't get the link to work. Will keep trying.
Beautiful trees. We have pockets of them, but all in all, our fall colors are mild and dimmed this year.
Judy: with the torrential rain I was afraid the leaves would drop before we had chance to absorb their beauty.
Our Japanese Cherry has suddenly turned golden!
Scarlet, you did'nt tell me you'd moved!
John: that's Autumn for you:)
Autumn's the BEST, isn't it? It's a pity what comes immediately after but what a thrill for a few weeks, anyway.
Exile: I once had a desperately sad autumn in Paris and for years I dreaded it but now I appreciate its qualities.
Not wild on winter.
Apologies, Pat, my linking is a bit hit and miss these days, I am here Wonky-words
I hope.

Beautiful, beautiful garden ! Oh Pat you live in such a lovely home.
The one day I slept in a few extra minutes the gardener comes early... It is always the way.
Glad to know your roof is ok !
cheers, parsnip
Your garden looks so very beautiful....The colors so rich....A Beautiful Fall, my dear....How lovely that you captured it for all of us to see, too! Thank you, my dear.
I keep hearing about the glory of autumn, and you've shown it here, Pat. Wow.
I really do love the way you see and show life, the way you celebrate, the way you overcome.
Parsnip: tomorrow is Saturday and - still waiting on the garage roof to be done (we need dry weather) I'll risk a lie-in till 8am at least. What's the betting Mick will turn up:)
Naomi: I'm mesmerised by the acer my mother gave me. It's never been so magnificent and neither she nor Alastair are here to see it alas.
GG: you do say lovely things:)
Beautiful colours!
Leaves have almost entirely gone from most of the trees here.
Kim: I have to keep going to look at the acer. It's mesmerising.
The gorgeous colours of Fall! Something I haven't experienced yet. Hopefully some day soon...
