Hello beautiful young girl, so you went to London and did all sorts of things? What did you see, hear, feel? I've heard that horse meat is delicious, haha. So said one Swiss friend.

You look delightful! Glad you enjoyed yourself, and, no I couldn't live in London either! x

GG: I'm sure we had horse meat during the last unpleasantness and I'd rather eat spam.

Chef: you're back! I'm glad:)

Lovely photo, Pat. You look great! As does that young man of yours. I'm glad it was duck and not horse... and first class duck at that! Too funny!!

@Scarlet: Bear is actually very good. I know people who hunt and have eaten quite a bit of wild game. Moose is excellent as well. :-)

Parsnip: it is amazing how one can till laugh and have fun - in spite of the gaping hole.

We can get horse meat here if we want it, bear too, but I'd stick with the duck, unless elk (moose) or reindeer were being served?

Sounds like it's colder there than here, even if we do have more snow.

Sending lots of big, warm hugs.

Oh lovely Grandma - that reads like my mother's texting

Horse is actually quite tasty, Pat. Was this an April Fool - 'second class duck!' - played on you by the Thai waitress, or was her accent so strong that she was trying to say something else entirely?

Pat said...

Nea: I suppose elk and moose are similar to venison?
Warm hugs are good ; we stikll have this fearsome wind.

ALW: at least she can text - I can't yet.

Gadjo: no I was the clot who was not attuned to her accent. Every one else understood her. I was the April fool. She was saying second course duck.
