At last – thanks to Tom – I have got my side bar up-dated.  I’m sure to have forgotten somebody so if I have, please tell me and we’ll do it next time.

That's a lovely sidebar--almost as nice as the bridge. I would like to visit each person on that sidebar. I just might.

Carli - you'll be welcome here anytime.

Hi Pat. It looks like you still have pre-beta blogger still. I thought they had strong-armed everyone by now!

Michele sends her best,

Mike

Hello PI, Michele sent me and I'm glad because your blog is really readable. I love to hear about culture, habits and traditions all over the world and having a peek at yours was a great read.

Wishing you a wonderful end to your week from Norway:-)

Pat said...

Hi Mike: I'm still holding out but feeling a bit beleagured.

Hiya! It's looking good so far PI. You are doing a great job. I'm here via Michele but I think I'm going to take a look around.

Sidebars are not easy to change, nor is BetaBlogger, which I was forced to join.

Michele sent me here.

Hi Jean-luc: I fel the enemy closing in on me! I wonder how they finally got through to you?

Good morning from Kansas. I saw that "...after a separation of 30 years..." That sounds intriguing. Is there a story somewhere on your Blog?

I got here from Michele's.

Pat said...

Hi Paul and welcome! The whole blog is my story starting in Jan 2006 with present day interruptions. I suppose the love story started around the June archive and (fingers crossed) continues.

lady, you are a living breathing version of what I want to be..

Kind of like an idea come to life... showing that there are people who grow old but still can be teens at heart and marry their true love.

5 kids..10 grandkids... you must be having a gala time.

Pat said...

Thanks Hershey. Life is good - knock on wood, fingers crossed etc etc!

Still pre-beta myself, you're not alone, Pat! Honoured as well to figure in your sidebar, ευχαριστώ θερμά.

I like the Japonica very much, what a beautiful garden you must have there!

4d: I know - I left a comment for jax - just after I'd adjusted the side bar but they can do what I did - if you get one you can click on it to get the other if you see what I mean:)
You're such a fidget!

mkwm: glad there are two of us. Every day they semm to make it harder to carry on especially with comment boxes. You have to translate the Greek I'm afraid.

Thank you honey! I feel honoured. Am going upstairs now to change into a frock and sip on g&t's to celebrate.

Well.. you know me. Any excuse...

Pat said...

Cheers Sim! I'm beginning to feel like the Queen!

MKWM said...

Thank you "warmly", thanks very much, that is! BTW, Greek tunes are still on air especially for you at MKWM (FM Stereo)... until tomorrow night!

Re pre-bêta: they all seem to complain about the bêta version and if I remember well, they advised us to stick to what we have as long as possible. So... let's stick together!

Pat said...

Thank you MKWM on both counts. Will be along shortly to listen.

p.s Beta (now know as NEW blogger) seems to be running ok should you decide to make the move. . .

Pat said...

Thanks DQ - that's nice of you. Glad to hear NB is sorting out the wrinkles. Are there any real benefits?

I guess only if you want to change the template then you can edit without fiddling about with html so much, but only if you pick one of their pre set templates. It will let you pick up text boxes and links and drop them into diff places etc.

Apart from that I guess I see no more offerings but I'm not the IT whizz in our household (as you can probably tell by my waffle above).

Pat said...

Thanks DQ. I'll think again when the family are here at Easter - unless I'm compelled.

Sorry Pat, a bit late posting, but thanks for adding the link :)
