Peter Sellers "Pink Panther" movies were the best and should have never been remade. Why fool with a classic? My favorite movie of his was "Being There" in which he played "Chance the Gardener". Funny and touching at the same time.
Grand mother but still a girl at heart. Married to MTL(my true love)after a separation of 30 years. Had three careers: trained paediatric nurse, National photographic model and business woman. Now settled in SW and enjoying our five children and ten grandchildren and making the most of what time we have left.
In January 2013 I lost MTL.

If you don't laugh at Sellors Clouseau you are obviously deceased.
4d: that's a relief - I'm still here. No-one could have bettered him.
Noooobody could better him, I don't know why Hollywood tried to do a remake of his movie. Nooooo way.
He was hilarious in The Party as that man from India.
GG: they used to get hystericsal with laughter apparently, and had to take take after take - if you see what I mean.

Here from Michele today.
Hi srp : a dear friend of mine developed Alzheimers and I was reminded very strongly of 'Being There' which I found very moving.
His work is an absolute signature of my childhood. One of my earliest memories was seeing a Pink Panther movie at the drive-in.
To think what we miss now that these classics - of film and filmgoing - are gone.
carmi: at least we can still see them on the box- at least we can here.
