I can't seem to browse 'My pictures'.
where most of my stuff is.
I must wait for help to remain sane.

Who's who and everyone's so attractive!

I think Picassa [Picasa?] has been giving trouble...another blogger said so too.

Hi Pat - I'm guessing that that youngster on the left is you....
either that or the one on the right....
Or is it MTL in the middle????

Scarlet: small mercies eh?

Judy: it isn't exactly what I wanted to post but still!

Debra, GG and Macy: that was me left and my friend Sheila on the right. We were on a walking holiday in the Lake District aged 17 and met these three older men from left to right James, Ben his brother, and Tony. They were about ten years older and were at university after the army and we thought they were the bees knees.
We spent two days with them - all perfectly proper, and watched Sir Malcolm Campbell on Lake Coniston.
Gosh they will be REALLY old now:)

A wonderful photo! I was going to ask the same questions, but you've already answered :)

Kim: full marks for paying attention. What puzzles me is who took it. Could it have been a self shooter in 1947?

You didn't have a 2nd female friend with you? Otherwise one of the lads must have felt a bit left out...

Pat said...

Kim:it wasn't really like that and anyway Ben in the centre was quite aesthetic and other worldly.

I LOVE this picture, Pat.....It's funny, I have a few pictures from the Summer of 1947, taken at the Beach in Santa Monica.....I MUST post them! You have inspired me----of course, first I have to scan them in...lol!

Naomi: good idea - I'll look forward to seeing them:)
I hope you don't have to scan on your knees like I have to do.
