Pat said...: Naomi: I feel she was unlucky to be around at the same time as Julie Christie and Vanessa Redgrave and when her marriage broke up her two children were her first priority over her career.

Pat said...: Eryl, Parsnip, Debra: we lived - at one time - in the same area and I would see her on the train, in the pub and once went to an open air play in the grounds of her large country house. I think her husband may have written it. The Heavens opened and it was rained off. We were soaked and didn't return for a second viewing.; 8:46 PM

She tried to save the rainforest as far back as the 60's?

Is it my imagination or did people care more for causes then?
