Caramel Banoffee crumble. The chef was delighted when Joy - 'a mature lady', approved his crumble.
White chocoate and stem ginger cheese cake - my choice.

The salt 'n' pepper hugging each other is...is...
...sweet!
I just love the way you throw yourself into enjoying everything, Pat. [Have I told you this before? Well, I'm saying it again].
Ooooo that crumble looks delicious!! Looks like a warm and cozy place, Pat. Lovely!
GG: well fun has been a bit thin on the ground recently;)
Ponita; I think the chef is Spanish and they do all kinds of tapas and an evening with all different choices of pie and a variety of mash.
I use Delia for my crumble, and though I never eat it, it always gets the thumbs up.
Dandelion: does Delia crumble well?
To cook for others a dish one doesn't eat oneself is real hospitality IMO.
ummmm. . .I'll have some of the white chocoate and stem ginger cheese cake, please!
It all looks so yummy...! Though I must admit, White Chocolate doesn't taste like Chocolate, to me...lol!
I'm so glad your group was able to get together, my dear...It means so very much, doesn't it? I hope you all DO stick to your Once A Mnth Get-Together...!
If you get a chance, I have a couple of movie recomendations on my blog....Some really WONDERFUL Films and one--Not So Good, in my opinion.
Sheri: it was good but the crumble was better.
Naomi: I know what you mean.
I'll be over some time tomorrow. There are two movies I'm longing to see. Maybe they will be the same:)
Next time you can have the crumble and I'll eat the cheesecake for you!
And then I want to go and see "The King's Speech", please.... and thank you :)
Nea: fair swap!
I suspect you somehow knew that I am VERY frustrated when anyone mentions 'The King's Speech'. I long to see it(I explain why later) and it just isn't feasible at present.
The desserts look and sound gorgeous and tasty! At the risk of your ire... The King's Speech is fabulous and you guys will love it! I had to wait and see it, too, as our little town doesn't carry those sorts of films. x
Kath: I'm resigned to the fact that the whole world will see 'The King's Speech' before I do:)
Well, I hope when you do see it you'll let us read your review! :-)
Kath: with pleasure - possibly tomorrow.
