Parsnip: I'm not sure when they are sheared. It certainly hasn't been warm enough to bother them so far.

Naomi:it reminded me to be careful especially taking a photo. Years ago when I was climbing in Wales my instructor told me the week before - in the same spot a girl stepped backwaard taking a photo - lost her balance and fell to her death.
Those pictures and the lambs make me nostalgic for England! There are thatched cottages here and lambs not far from this house, but they're not quite the same.
