I am out of town, Pat, and the photos are taking forever to load!! I may have to wait to see them until I get back home.

Aha, The Royal National Rose Society Gardens at St. Albans, somewhere I used to go with my mother as a youngster! I'd get a lot more from it now, having just dedicated a small section of my garden to miniature roses (and pieces of marble).

Somebody should name a new rose after your granddaughter (your son surely by now already has had one named after him...).

Judy: they'll still be here DV.

Gadjo: what a lucky boy you were.
There was a rose named Miss Alice but the photo had no definition and it looked like a white blob.

Beautiful gardens and granddaughter! And it looks like you had perfect weather too.
