What to do on a Grey Day?

A trip to the Garden Centre of course.

Note the two slightly shrivelled oranges at top of frame.

These look like tryffyds.

Spider plants can look attractive.

I had one of those dark spiky plants.  It never looked right in my garden and was a devil to get rid of.

I wasn't tempted and only bought a rosemary which was thrice the price I was told it would be.

I don't know about a grey day, it's pretty white here!!

My mother would have loved to go to the Garden Centre with you but I'm not sure she would have resisted temptation!

Love your visit to the garden center.
I thought the two places I should never work at is a garden center or bookstore. I would never have any of my paycheck left.

Lovely photos.
cheers, parsnip

Map: are you still poorly?

Parsnip: but both great places to work I should imagine.

Lovely pictures Pat, and very cheering in this weather. Though not too bad here yet, but snowing heavily the last time I looked out - a couple of hours ago.

Mike and Ann: you too? I'm beginning to feel deprived:)

Beautiful. This is therapy. This is where people should go when they are feeling grey.

My sister took me and our mother to a nursery near her home. Ohhhh my gosh, I wanted to stay right there, in that plant place.

GG: they are the most cheering places - and they serve food too:)
