WOW! From the looks of things, this is going to be a l-o-n-g Holiday...! (lol) I hope you all have a WONDERFUL time, my dear Pat....And I bet it is someplace really REALLY Beautiful! Take lots of pictures, please... Safe Trip, My Dear.
That's a LOT of packing! Are you going away for a month? Where to? One week from tomorrow I'm going to Las Vegas. I don't suppose you're going there, are you? I'd buy you a tony cocktail!
good for you!! and for all of us with whom you always so generously share in the wonderful photos and stories you'll bring back with you! bon voyage, dear lady!
Macy: I haven't got round to outer layers yet. Once I know what the weather is likely to do I can make decisions.
Keith: no a whole week in Cricket St Thomas.
Joey: the final selection will be whittled down. Or not:)
Naomi: it's just the start of deciding what to take. I really try to cut down. I still have about ten days. I intend to take as many photos as possible.
UB: just the week. I'm tempted by Vegas and a cocktail but it would be too much of a rush. Half the fun is having time to anticipate.
Jenean: thank you. It's probably going to be as dull as ditchwater - but you never know.
Map: I feeel I'm letting everybody down by just flitting to the next county:)
GG: I never forget when our small boat was moored alongside HMS Illustrious and we were told over the megaphone that if I had a dress we could go on board for dinner. I had a dress:)
John: I haven't started on his packing yet. Hopefully the two of us - and our luggage plus some food and drink will fit in the car. MTL always says it won't fit and it always does:) And I voluntarily do most of the humping - its quicker - and keeps me fit.
Looking at a map, Pat, I find your holiday destination is only about twenty miles from where you live. Still, I can quite see the point that if you haven't taken enough clothes with you, you can always nip home for some more. Irony aside - have a lovely break the two of you. Regards, Ann and Mike.
Mike and Ann: to avoid stress all round we keep the journey as easy as poss. It is actually 41.8 miles from Minehead to Cricket St Thomas and I sincerely hope I don't forget anything. Last time I forgot my skin cleanser and bought some horrible stuff from a store.
Grand mother but still a girl at heart. Married to MTL(my true love)after a separation of 30 years. Had three careers: trained paediatric nurse, National photographic model and business woman. Now settled in SW and enjoying our five children and ten grandchildren and making the most of what time we have left.
In January 2013 I lost MTL.

Not a woolly jumper or raincoat in sight!
You're either a brave woman or heading abroad!
Blimey! All those clothes! I guess it's not just a weekend in Bournemouth then?
Wow and I thought I took a lot of clothes. :D
Have a wonderful time!!

LOM: thank you:)
Our grandson Ian says you shouldn't be "braggy". I am filled with envy that you are going on a trip and that you have those lovely clothes.
Granny Annie: apologies to Ian:)
I never thought about hanging things like that. How great. You have a wonderful time. We will enjoy it all with you when you get home. :)
Mage: I don't go for another 10 days:) I like to be prepared.
Are you sure you're not preparing for the Exodus from Egypt?
Cheers.
Randall: listen you never know who you may meet. Her Maj is all over the place with the diamond jubilee celebrations. One must be prepared.
