I feel really dumb, my dear. I do not have a clue what a "bream" is, Black or otherwise....Please do tell me.(lol)
Sad that things were not as they should have been in the cottage. That it is being sold is too bad in a way, if they cannot keep up all the things they should.

Naomi: sorry I should have made it clearer. The bream is a fish - the one on the plate.
They say the new owners will carry on letting but we'll have to see what transpires.

You're right, that bream sure looks happy!
I love fish but I must say I find it hard to eat one with the fins still on! We get them all trimmed and cleaned here before eating.
The Wayfarer Inn looks so cosy and quaint!
I love the photos of both the Inn and the fish--which does look delicious.
Charlie: the fish doesn't look very elegant but my word it was good.
lom: maybe it's time to find somewhere new. I've been looking at three possibles.
Cloudcutter: MTM wouldn't dream of eating a fish like that but I enjoy the authentic look:)

Haha, that is one big laughing fish. I've never seen a fish so happy to be eaten!
