It's Sunday and The Valiant Soldier beckons. I have a problem; looking in my diary to see what's in store I found Dec 10th 10.30 am Louise.
The only Louise I recall was my # 1 son's first girl friend at Uni. And she was unforgettable. I've tried all the usual suspects - hair , teeth, hygienist, surgery,feet, eyes,friends - no dice - so I fear i'm going to have to give Louise a miss. If you're out there - Im truly sorry.

Maybe Louise will ring to remind you as it seems the appointment(?) must have made ages ago.
I was thinking the same thing that sablonneuse said! Wait for Louise to call.
I have this annoying habit of writing down phone numbers without the name! So I'm always left with scraps of paper with only numbers on them.
And sometimes I go through my cellphone and wonder who so-and-so is! Even with the name, I cannot recollect who it is!!

My mum used to do that, and trying to piece out what was meant taught me a lesson. I have a diary with space for notes and I try hard to remember to make them. Still time, you might remember who Louise is.
Z: very often my writing is indecipherable but this is so clear and legible - it spooks me a bit.
She might turn out to be a stalker if you don't go. Or be a bit odd like Meryl Streep in that movie who's name completely escapes me...
