That looks treacherous. And there's always some idiot on the road who thinks they're such a terrific driver that they needn't slow down for the rain.

I hate driving in the rain, especially if I have the girls whooping it up in the back.

Sam: I made the mistake of letting the boys take turns to sit beside me. We didn't have seat belts and I had to drive with one arm outstretched ready to grab them if I had to brake.

Glad you had a nice day, weather notwithstanding. We've had enough rain here to last a while.

Cheers.

GREAT pictures of the Dance Company....And a shocking picture of the flood! It really looks horrifically scary....I'm glad you got home saf, my dear.

Randall: fingers crossed for a fair day on Wednesday - open top bus time;)

Naomi: it felt safe in the coach - I wouldn't want to drive through it.

Your luncheon sounds delicious and the ballet must have been heavenly!

Great poster advertising the ballet - looks a bit Matthew Bourne! I like the idea of the 40s treatment too.

A gang of us saw the Romeo & Juliet ballet a few days ago!

Rashbre: I must pop over and see.
