Seems like little French girls are not too different to litttle English girls.

I didn't know all kids liked funny coloured ponies. How odd!

mei del: I'm sure when the older girls - now in their twenties - were around, they had Barbies - which Grandma loved to play with.

John g: trouble is I'm always looking for the double entendre. I blame Keith :)

Marjolein: mon Dieu! Is nowhere safe?

Belle: don't you love them?

My daughter was strongly discouraged from liking such things. Boys' toys were much more fun.

Theya re both no different from little American girls! All four of my granddaughters have played with those. Enjoy your company!

Z: my DILs tried very hard but failed with the dreaded Barbies.

Judy: seems like it's pandemic:)I preferred them to the wretched action men that my boys had.

There are loads of Noddy toys and books available here. Our physio's little girl loves them. He's called Oui-oui in French. (Big-Ears 'translates' as Potiron - pumpkin.)

Sandy: my boys loved Noddy and Big Ears and I had to do all the different voices. Parp Parp!

My comment got eaten by some anti-pony monster!

I was saying that little girls here love ponies too. I just finished making a pink satin bag with pink & yellow ribbons and a gold painted pony, for a little pal of ours, she turned 8 recently.

Gg: my little granddaughter would have loved that. She has a ball in Woolworths with all the pink sparkly stuff. It really is universal. We had such a drab childhood in that respect - wartime and utility stuff.
Sorry about the comment malfunction; I've just renewed my virus protector and it takes a while to settle down.

Kath: did you keep them for any little ones you and Royal may have?
