Is that what that movie was about? I thought it was about this babe in the hospital who took blood to check on chloresterol and had a younger brother who went around saying stuff like "There will be bud, Bub," because he was so fond of Budweiser. I can't figure out how I got it so wrong.

What is your mum doing at the Ally Pally? And what has she to do with DDL? I must say he's got more handsome in the face since his Left Foot.

Hoss: looks like we both got it wrong - unlikely as that may seem:)

Mono: Next time do choose a shorter name dear. And are we going to told what it means. I was the first to leave a comment on your new site but it vanished. That isn't my Mum(do try to concentrate) it is DDL's Mum and that sepia man is his grand-father - not mine:) I will change you on the side bar soon.

Oooh! that's me told then :-)

Yes, while in flux I had to lose TWO excellent comments actually, owing to the vagaries of the blogger template editing system. Anyway, please accept my sincere apologies, for that, and for the maternal identity mistake. I hope you are not offended.

That scene where he shouts "I abandoned my child" must have been very painful, because he did. He walked out on Isabelle Adjani and their baby. Shiftless Irish bastard.

Pat said...

Daphne: in my experience people like that have the ability to blank it out.

Daniel Day Lewis helped turn an otherwise mundane evening into pure magic. I love his ability to speak his mind...so unlike so many in Hollywood these days.
