fjl: not me I'm afraid but a dear young man named Tom who didn't know blogs bur persevered until he sorted it. His fingers darted like humming bees over the key board and he had just a witches breath of a moustache - same age as my eldest grand-son. Dear boy!
My heart suddenly goes out to an old photo of a man dismissed as a replacement.... a replacement for MTL? or have I misunderstood.
I love studying old material and lost lives.
He was dismissed by me but rapidly found the girl on the right as a replacement for me as a partner. I behaved badly in not answering his invitation - appallingly in fact - but I don't think he would lose any sleep over it. I think he only invited me as a favour to my BIL as he had stopped me going with MTL.
Seems ludicrous now but terribly important then.
S'always important then isn't it?
