You know, I read your stories and look at your photos and I think that it's such a great idea to scan them and to write memories around them. I do so enjoy reading of your younger days. I also have lots of childhood photos but no scanner. It's on my list of things to get 'round to getting and mastering. What type do you have? do you recommend it? I have looked at some but get confused by all the features.....
theblonde: I had a Visioneer which I didn't use very often and it just packed up. Now I have a Rank xerox 4800 one touch from PC World £34.99. I'm fairly sure I got, as a free gift, Picasa 2 which is an editing aid. So far so good.
Grand mother but still a girl at heart. Married to MTL(my true love)after a separation of 30 years. Had three careers: trained paediatric nurse, National photographic model and business woman. Now settled in SW and enjoying our five children and ten grandchildren and making the most of what time we have left.
In January 2013 I lost MTL.
