Meet Ivy

Ivy is a new member of our French family.  She is a West Highland Terrier so the Scottish connection is there.  My DIL told our granddaughter that her mother had bought a dog after she left home.
'Don't wait till I leave home!'said granddaughter.  Hence Ivy.

Oh My Goodness ! Ivy is adorable.
What a fabulous photo.
You know how much I love terriers they have the best personally. Full of spunk, smart and pure love.
Hamish is part Westie so I have a cousin.
When I first saw you comment to me I though maybe you adopted a stray cat or a puppy.
What is so funny is a few days ago I started to think about puppies and here is your post.

So cute you could wear her as a brooch.

Parsnip: it will be fascinating to see how she develops.

Exile: good job you didn't say that in French. She would have been mortified.

What a sweet puppy! Much as I love our dog, I so wish I had been able to start with a puppy - all the work is worth it.
