I actually saw Miss Bankhead perform a number of times! On Broadway in a not very good play called "Foolish Notion" and also when she had her radio show called "The Big Show". The Drama SchoolI went to was given tickets to be in the audience all the time. It was a great show and she had on really terrific guests!
Naomi: I always think of her when I think of 'All about Eve' but of course that was Bette Davis looking like Tallulah. I'd love to have seen her on stage.
Grand mother but still a girl at heart. Married to MTL(my true love)after a separation of 30 years. Had three careers: trained paediatric nurse, National photographic model and business woman. Now settled in SW and enjoying our five children and ten grandchildren and making the most of what time we have left.
In January 2013 I lost MTL.

Once again, the starlets of yore set the standard for understated glamour and sex appeal. No number of micro swimsuits can match it, IMHO.
Cheers.
Randall: the photo was an afterthought. You're meant to be reading the quotes:)
