A few Photies - something for the week-end.

My cabin - should have tidied it first.

Looking the other way the bathroom is on the left and on the right a very generous wardrobe - even for me.
One of the Cape Verde island's volcanoes had been erupting for a week - you can see the dust in the atmosphere which was difficult for passengers with breathing problems.

The tender being raised outside my cabin.  It was only necessary to use it once to get ashore- the day after my accident so Dylan advised me to stay on board, which I did.

The crew having a race.  Sadly they moved a few inches at a time.  The officer in the centre looked just like an older Stanley Baker in the flesh.
People did bathe as it got hotter.  Pas moi:)

I think looking left there is no land between us and South America - unless it is the other way round.
Dear Bubbles looking pensive on Christmas Day.
Our evening restaurant - the Thistle.  We patronised the others during the day.
The fish market in ? Madeira.  The photies have rearranged themselves and I have learned not to interfere
 Through the glass darkly.
My first view of Braemar which should be at the top of the page.
Just off the plane at Tenerife

Cabin looks enormous to how I've always imagined cruise cabins.
Great pics!

I am fascinated with your cabin. Very nice accommodation.

Rog: I it a superior outside cabin.
When Dylan cruised with his wife they had a balcony and he fondly remembers starry nights having a snifter in the Caribbean but he said it is pointless to have a balcony unless there are two of you.

Granny Annie: yes and it can be a real haven. Most afternoons I would have a snooze after lunch.

John: It was and it's possible to eat well and not put on any weight. In fact I lost a couple of pounds.

Very shapely legs in the 2nd pic :)

Kim: not surprisingly your eyes are better than mine. Or maybe not:)

Well spotted, Kim!

Z: I had forgotten about the mirror. Thank Heaven I was at least partially dressed:)

Parsnip: it's coming along. I see the physio on Tuesday so I hope to get helpful advice. Meanwhile most of the time I keep the splint off and try to work normally.

Well I was going to say the cabin was bigger than I though they were, but you have answered that one and then I was going to ask about your arm, and you have answered that one. So have a good week. :D

'Photies.' Heh. Now you're making me miss Jimmy B.

Did he tie is own bow tie or is that a clip-on? I'm a full-blown adult male and still don't know how to tie one of those things.

Pat said...

Exile: yes we have all been influenced by James.
I think my elderly friend would have felt honour bound to use one of his own bow ties. Not a clip on. How did you come across the pic?

How did Kim...? :-D

He's right.

The pool looks super-empty because of all the people outside of it.

Wonderful photographs, Pat!
I also went for the superior outside cabin when I cruised... didn't like the idea of not having a window.
Sx

Scarlet: it spoils you for anything less.
