Pat, dear....I love this card.It is so elegant in it's simplicity and so filled with love....Looking at Alastair's wonderful face in the more recent picture, is so very touching---what a lovely warm smile....Then,looking st him as a young man--a beautiful young man--I thought of all those wonderful 33 years that you had together, and when you met so very many years before that---Your True Love---the Miracle of you finally getting together and sharing such a rich full life together...Yours is such a truly memorable and meaningful "love" story....I keep saying, my heart goes out to you in this time of loss---and it does. But my heart is also so full too, with the gift you have shared with all of us of your beautiful 33 years with this special special man: Such a very gracious gift, my dear...I can only imagine what these 33 years have meant to both of you. May the memories of all that you and Alastair shared, sustain you through the coming days and weeks and months, dear Pat, Sending you much love.
Oh Pat, it looks as though I've come to visit just in time to add my love and support to everyone else's. Having followed your love story from the beginning I feel honoured to have been allowed to read it. May your many years of treasured memories keep you feeling warm and loved for the rest of your life.
Dear Pat, I loved ya the first time I 'met' ya. I can see why that lovely man did too. I know you want no sad songs, so I will sing a happy love song for you both. You are sent love from all the Map-family, for they all know the story of my friend Pat. :¬)
Grand mother but still a girl at heart. Married to MTL(my true love)after a separation of 30 years. Had three careers: trained paediatric nurse, National photographic model and business woman. Now settled in SW and enjoying our five children and ten grandchildren and making the most of what time we have left.
In January 2013 I lost MTL.

Naomi and Sandy: thank you for those lovely comforting words. I am so glad I shared our story with you.
It diminishes the loneliness.
