Fingers crossed. Picasa has just up-dated. Will this post?

This is my old school-Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School. I posted from 'My Pictures' in a very roundabout way. So presumably if I put new pictures there instead of on Picasa - whicn still isn't working - I should be able to publish - one at a time. Marfvellous!

WOW!!! impressive! but it's very very beautiful and it's hard to beleive that was a school!

I see one photo - presumably the old school (lovely architecture!) - and one little "broken photo" marker. Maybe move the ones you want to publish into 'My Pictures' from Picasa (a pain, I know) and publish from there? Good luck!

That's beautiful! You should see the dull brick box I attended. I can assure you I don't have any photos or memories.

You don't need Picasa to load pics. Blogspot will take them directly. Wish I was in the neighborhood. I'd walk you through it and then you could fix me a proper cup of tea.

Very large and fancy for a grammar school!

Tracy: It has had masses of improvements over the years and the playing fields are out of sight up the hill.

Ponita: yes you're right it is a fiddle but I'll persevere.

UB: tea and crumpets - any time:)

Mapstew: I used to until I was seduced by Picasa. You were the smart one;)

JUDY: actually I am very proud of it and keep in touch.

Enid Blyton! Now I know what the schools looked like in her stories. Did you play lacrosse and suck cool lemon slices during the break?

Nice picture

GG: hockey - not lacrosse - I still have a scar over my left eye where I was bashed with a hockey stick. No lemon slices - it was wartime.

Sausage; I'm amazed - it always looked an old pile to me.
