More Florida Pictures

Meanwhile back in Minehead yesterday was a vast improvement on Sunday. I walked down to the Co-op - got a large order and - for the first time arranged to have it delivered between 12 and 2pm. Then I had a cappuccino in the health shop, bought the papers and - as a treat bought two pretty cushions which had been reduced fromn £10 to £5.
The patient was more adventurous in eating and I feel we took a step forward. The groceries were delivered successfully - in spite of the broken door bell. Today I was up at 6am to put out the rubbish and paper - not my job as a rule so it is all educational and doesn't bother me one whit. All I want is to be moving in the right direction.
I would like to go to Florida one day. The birds look so great.

Florida is just the poor man's Minehead anyway, isn't it?

Perhaps you mentioned where this is, but I've either didn't see it or forgotten the location. From the first photo, it could be sunrise on the Atlantic or sunset on the gulf.

I need another clue.

Beautiful photos, though.

Cheers.

Bloody bad grammar in my prior comment. I must stop doing this on the fly.

Sorry to sully your comment section, dear.

Cheers.

Mapstew: hope I'm still here;)

Randall: dinna fash! I'm way, way beyond noting any grammar - good or bad. Ive just spilt some of the patient's consomme on the kitchen floor.
The photos are Indian Rock Beach Florida - to my best knowledge.

Hark at you and your extravagant ways. Cappuccinos during the week. Where will it all end?

Is that a bird fishing or a fish flying in the middle photo?

Love the bottom photo, want to go there, it remind's me of Elizabeth Bishop's poem 'The Bight.'

The birds are great - egrets and herons and pelicans galore!

Queenie: I noticed we climbed the stairs more easily tonight:)

Madame D: it did feel a bit reckless but I eschewed the cake - pardon the pun.

Pat said...

Eryl: I'm guessing a bird.
Now I'll have to google 'The Bight'

Judy: thank you for the identification:)

Cappuccino in the health shop, heh heh. Shouldn't that have been a carrot juice?

Glad progress is good.

Pat said...

Z: probably but the time didn't seem ripe:)

Naomi: thank you. I'm grateful my son sent the photos because I seem to be busy doing things around the house or asleep. I WILL post photos of where i stayed - hopefully tomorrow.

Did you find it?

Pat said...

Eryl: yes. Lovely poem - you are a good recommender. I found Mrs Bridge quite haunting - a book to keep.

If you go to Florida when my mother is there, I hope you two meet up.

GG: I'd love to meet your Mum but I can't see the likelihood of any travelling any time soon.
