is that a kind of pre Bay City Rollers / Sex Pistols / Spandau Ballet kind of tartan look? So it was you who started it off?! kudos

You do seem more focused on your make up than on that lovely tube of icing there. :-)

Not a domestic goddess? Are you sure?...in my youth looking at pictures like that made me determined not to be one...and rush to look like Juliette Greco - not least because - small dark spectacled, plumpI had no hope on earth of ever looking like you, in or out of tartan . Can you really ice a cake? Still?? Impressive.

dp: I knew it reminded me of something. Thanks a bunch:)

fjl: it is idiotic I agree. But that's advertising photography for you!

grannyp: I too yearned to look like Juliette. Fat chance! My icing was restricted to the 'slap it on with a palette knife and call it snow! I'm cetainly NOT a DG.

I'd love to read the backstories to these advert photos. Great stuff.

Cheers.

Awww Judy - you're just saying that:)

Randall: no doubt that'll come later. I honestly can't remember this being taken but I know it's me because I recognise the bracelet - illegally made out of coins of the realm. Shh! Mum occasionally cut pictures out of magazines swearing they were me. Sometimes they weren't.

Ooh, that's a good story idea, the ones about the ads, how did you get into this glamour world and so on.

You honestly wouldn't have recognised you here if it weren't for the coin bracelet?

GG: 'I'm coming to that' that phrase - I think it's from 'Under Milk Wood' is more and more relevant. Be patient! I do recognise it really - i just don't remember doing it, but after a slow start, once one gets known one does so many photo shoots - it's easy to forget. And it was a lifetime away

You won't believe it I know, but I do remember that advert. We used to have a mag called "Titbits" and I'm sure it was in that. I never thought I would get to know someone so famous and attractive!

Well, I do know Bill Maynard (Greengrass), he lives near me, but he doesn't count; he's not as pretty as you!

Keith: I remember Titbits. My grand parents used to get it. I also remember Bill Maynard as I used to have a crush on him before he lost his figure. Thanks for the comliments but any fame I had was even shorter than Andy Warhol's definition.
