This is not a comment for your blogbut you do not give and e-mail address so I'm just explaining something that happened over on Banana's blog:
I got a tad confused as he has a habit of replying to individual comments and the one to you I took as being your comment and sent him one saying I could not imagine the word 'tits' coming out of your mouth.
Anyway he has kind of messed it up by posting my next comment but not the original one.
Hope you are not too confused by all this.

Hello (again) Pat,
I am quite happy to give you encouragement also though I think you are doing a fine job. My only comment would be that now I am up to date with your story it is frustrating waiting for the next installment.
You remind me of my aunt (born Jan 1931) who also trained as a nurse (Guys). I love your phraseology - as in 'lashings of bread and butter' - just wanted to shout out "where is the ginger beer?"
So, just more of the same please, only quicker. You are not allowed a life outside of blogland!!
BTW You can call me Polly. Though I am not sure Banana can. HeeHee.

Hi Polly and thank you for your kind words. It is difficult to get over this installment thing and realistically I know that I have to pace myself. I just hope I don't pop my clogs before finishing. No way then, would I RIP! I have spent the whole afternoon transferring a photo - losing it - finding it etc etc.
Time for a snifter:)

Jolly good idea, might just join you whilst I prepare food for the starving masses.
Photo from 1951?
We lived in Switzerland for nine years - love those lakes and mountains - now I'm feeling homesick, I even loved it in the winter and I hate the cold.

polly: no I borrowed it from google . Sadly I can't get at my old B/W of the honeymoon. That's what took me all afternoon and I hope thay will regard it as free advertising. Switzerland must have been lovely - and expensive.

Well that is what everyone thinks.
When we first went to live there in 1991 it was a little bit more expensive than here, but beleive me by the time we came back in 2000 the UK seemed extortionate. Prices here had rocketed but prices there had in many respects fallen or stayed the same.

BTW I did wonder about the photo - being in colour.

Polly: yes I'm clearly our of date. Mow you weren't trying to catch me out were you? With regard to the photo?

No, I just suddenly thought - 1951?
Colour?
