I just love such British (I mean all UK an IRL) views. How do you keep all the grass cut that way? Everywhere! In Poland, such places are full of high grass and bushes... :-|
Welcome shyha; I'm afraid if it were left to me the grass would be knee high. I think they must have a sit-on machine and of course it is part of the British psyche to keep the lawn trim and wash the car - usually on Sunday - day of rest!
Hi GG: if a property is owned by the National Trust or Nationaal Heritage (I think this is Heritage)they are always beautifully cared for. Always a good place for a comfort stop as the loos are clean.
Grand mother but still a girl at heart. Married to MTL(my true love)after a separation of 30 years. Had three careers: trained paediatric nurse, National photographic model and business woman. Now settled in SW and enjoying our five children and ten grandchildren and making the most of what time we have left.
In January 2013 I lost MTL.

Shyha - nobody left in Poland to cut the grass, they've all gone to UK! The British Ambassador has a nice lawn, actually.
Lovely pics Pat - almost make me nostalgic for UK. Keep your voice down when talking about mowing the lawn on a Sunday - Zoe might be listening.
Right Daphne - I'll bear that in mind.
How do they keep the place so CLEAN? I LOVE CLEAN. I'm a clean-freak.
