Do you know what makes that pic so great? Aside from the fact that it's you? The fact that it's black and white. There's something so elegant and soft about black and white photography. I hope it doesn't die.
Parsnip: I doubt I was really feeling serene being shot by Angus:)
Grany Annie: did you know baloney can also be spelt with an o? When I found it I was going to replace the much younger avatar but I can't work out how to do it.
Exile: most of the models I knew just saw the flaws in their own photos. We preferred black and white because they could be retouched to remove the flaws. In those days they couldn't do it with colour until an American photographer started it in the fifties. Leo Ayrons I think his name was. Kim Ayres does some great work in B/W.
Joey: my dictionary defines retro as backward. Thanks a lot Joey:) I think I was holding a flower. Not sure why.
Scarlet: you're too kind:)
Nea: I have it I my mind we were in Dunham Park in the house so it would have to be window light. He also took one with a hat but where di the hat come from?
Grand mother but still a girl at heart. Married to MTL(my true love)after a separation of 30 years. Had three careers: trained paediatric nurse, National photographic model and business woman. Now settled in SW and enjoying our five children and ten grandchildren and making the most of what time we have left.
In January 2013 I lost MTL.

You look stunning, my dear....!
Naomi: as I was taken by my son all the lines were left in:)
Very elegant with a real retro feel. I thought you were holding a shell to start with, and did wonder why.
Always, graceful and lovely.
Sx
Classic, with the black and white, but also the soft lighting, is it from a window?

I wish modelling wasn't only for the very young. Look at what the mags are missing when they don't use you, you gorgeous gal, you.
GG: I used to get migraines. I haven't had them since.
