Leaves are starting to turn here.

We've got a hibiscus like that - very reliable it is. Yesterday I was pleased to find (and buy) the 2nd-placed shrub on my most-wanted list: Philidelphus Virginalis. But no chance of getting tree peonies over here it seems.

I can't believe you still have flowers out, our garden is in lets go to sleep for winter mode!

John: as is yours.

Kim: a few dropped leaves and the hydrangea is now a golden pink.

Gadjo: I've never had a tree peony. My favourite mock orange is Belle Etoile which has a heavenly fragrance. I haven't seem it this year and wonder if my gardener or the tree loppers have hacked it.

Naomi: the colours are slowly going more golden and a million leaves are about to drop off.

LOM: that's simply because you start talking about Christmas in July:)

I feel good, just looking at your garden pics, Pat.

I have this theory, if more people spent their time gardening, listening to the trees, there might be less troubles.

GG: that's good common sense.
