No-one says it like Billie

The pictures are a bit weird but close your eyes and listen.

Great performance! I think the photos are good too, without all the clever distorting graphics!

Yes - great singing but an unexpectedly woozy video.

Sad song, beautiful voice. The pictures were neat just not the wavy ones. Looked like she adored her best friend dog:)

What a voice.
It looks like some one got a new program for the computer and wanted to play with it.

cheers, parsnip

LOVE Billie and I LOVE that song....! Perfect for her, isn't it? I can't imagine why the people thought doing all those crazy things to the pictures was going to be an enhancement to Billie Holiday's singing---it is so pure and real.
Thanks, my dear Pat....This is such a wonderful moment in time. So Much Feeling.....!
Sending You Hugs, My Dear....

This proves my point perfectly... music today is not as good as it used to be!

Joey: I suppose it was deliberate?

Z: thank you:)

Rashbre: it was the only one that fitted my dashboard.

Granny Annie: it seemed to be the same dog. At least she had one faithful friend.

Map: knew you'd appreciate it.

Parsnip: she doesn't really need any gimmicks.

Naomi: it takes one to know one. The same can be said of your voice - especially 'My Father's House.'

Chef: I knew if I hung on the day would get better:)

I find Billie Holiday almost too painful to listen to, almost like prying into somebody's private tragedy. Tough lives some of the great jazz artists had.

I agree with Mr Files. Mr Maps is also playing some fine tunes on his blog.

Gadjo: but think how even more awful it would have been for her if she hadn't been able to give voice to her demons.

Scarlet: thanks for the heads up:)

Ohh, divine! Today, we have the kind of weather that goes just perfectly with this song.

Here's a song I listen to some Sunday mornings: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2eusOFmOg8

I promise it will make you laugh.
