It's so strange to be able to participate in Father's Day. I never thought I'd be a father. My plan was to become a cranky old man in the city with people impatiently waiting for my demise because I had a great apartment. Here I am, two daughters later. What a surprise!

Been through old photos today myself. Time turns all the happy memories poignant...

They had good reason to be proud of their daughter. Elegance and beauty, it is handed down and can never be obtained by money alone.

Parsnip: we had a beloved corgi named Havoc. Then Mum and DAD bought this one - Shane who was completely different and a real tinker.

Macy: it's good I think to be reminded of the happy times.

Jimmy: their greatest legacy was the background of a loving home and a marriage that lasted for over sixty years till Dad died at eighty five.
In the early years money was too scarce to mention - you know all about that.

What lovely parents and lovely photos!

Debra: that was lovely - I red about it today.

Queenie: Dad was a rock and Mum was cuddlesome. What more can a child want?

Kath: in those days we were so careless of photos and now they are priceless.
