I don't like to think of us as 'failures'. It's a defeatist word, and it takes away from us our need to keep trying :-(

We might not be 'successes' but the alternative doesn't have to be 'failures', does it?

I love this quote because only after we have had to dust ourselves off and go again a number of times, do we become successful in life.

Lord Alfred Tennyson :

I clearly am no good what so ever at lingering...possibly malingering...

Keen at the start, but careless at the end.

Cornelius Tacitus :

With a name like that it is probably all he deserved...;-)

It’s all right letting yourself go as long as you can let yourself back.

Mick Jagger :

Unfortunately I oost the key....

Doris Day :

Haven't grown out of childhood yet...bloody hell...gimme a chance!

We are all of us failures, at least the best of us are.

James M Barrie :

Nice to know I'm one of the best!

Never make a defence or an apology until you are accused

King Charles 1 :

Never apologised even if I was accused....why bother? If you're being wronged fuck em and if you aren't pretend you are I say

Youth would be an ideal state if it came a little later in life,

Herbert Henry Asquith :

My youth (mentally) is still with me...I'll be 16 when I'm 80 (in the highly improbable liklihood that I haven't shuffled off...at the tender of age of 16 of course...;-)
