Map: thank you. It would be nice to have free holidays but I'd rather have the freedom to say what I think;)

Such a beautiful place, Pat...Your pictures really give me the feeling of being right there with you...The Cliff Views--Beautiful! And I love that you got to talk with the owner of that place and find out all the History, too....A Family owned Business--How rare is that today?
A rich vacation, my dear, filled with beautiful images for all of us to see!

Parsnip: you are an ideal travelling companion:)

Naomi: it's great when meeting people can brighten a dull day.

John.G: I'd like to see more of it going towards Hartland Point.

Once you've finished your memoirs I think you should consider writing a travel book about all the places you visit: you make it all sound so lovely. The photos are gorgeous too, what kind of wild flowers are those pink ones?

Pat said...

Eryl: the first thing I had published was a travel article.
I think the flowers were a clover but quite a deep pink.

Looks fabulous! I love the photo of the early surfer :)

GG: then my work here is done;)

Kath: when I enlarged the photo I realised he had the same name as the owner so is obviously a relative.

Oh that's even better! They must be proud to have it on the wall

Kath: I remember wearing a woollen bathing costume. They tended to dangle when wet;)
