A good place for lunch and banter. The Tucker's Arms built to house the workmen when they were renovating the church a few centuries ago

The last two photos, Pat, are quite fascinating. Four boys from one small village—how very, very sad.

Charlie : and from the same family.
Incidentally I noticed in the photo a blue plaque on the left wall of the Inn and I'm kicking myself for not finding out what it denoted.

Four boys lost from one family, makes me weep for the mother, how would you get over that?!

Eryl: we've lost two boys this week from our Taunton Marines. It all feels so hopeless and no end in sight.

Now I have my new varifocals I can confirm that the blue plaque on the pub wall refers to Egon Ronay's Guide.

So you missed nothing!
