You have that glow.

Then again, you glow in all your photos

Kim: bet you say that to all the girls!

But pi, you can't see anything! Did being a model make you more self-conscious about your changing body shape? You still look radiantly beautiful though!

You look fabulous. Pregancy obviously suited you.
(P.S. I left s comment for your last post but it isn't there. That's the second time this has happened. Hope it wasn't something I said?????)

f:lux: I have a short body and long legs so bulged immediately which meant I couldn't wear my normal clothes and couldn't bear any restriction. There's a limit to how many photos you can have with a bunch of flowers in front. The whole attitude was different. No flaunting - almost as if pregnancy was something that was embarrassing to others.

Sablonneuse: I'm so sorry. Have only once deleted a comment - just missed it but have put it through now. I'm always being told 'this comment has already been moderated'.

What does this mean? The picture is 3 days after you became pregnant, or 3 days before you gave birth? Or that you're going to tell it to us in 3 days? Or that the delivery took 3 days?

You are a master of mystery, that's for certain.

Gosh, even pregnant you were gorgeous. Was that a magasine pic. too? It sure looks like one. I can't see the 'bump'.

Oh, a really silly question Pat, something I've always wanted to ask doctors, nurses, but forget...does being in the medical profession make sickness, pregnancy, etc. feel less traumatic, worrisome? Seeing that they know everything and it's not knowing that makes patients so scared?

Dandelion: slight exaggeration but 3 days pregnant. I wanted everything to happen yesterday. Now who does that remind me of?

GG: it was taken outside our kitchen window by William. He took some good photos of me because he could usually get me to chuckle. I think doctors and nurses are every bit as neurotic as normal patients and CAN make quite dreadful patients. In my own case I was a very nervous mother as normal babies can present frightening symptoms one minute and be perfectly OK the next. And I had little experience of normal children.

I've given you an award over at my site. If you like it you can pass it on to 5 others you think deserve it.

Beautiful!

Kim: thank you for your kind words. I don't regard this as a me me (which I don't do) but a chance to show love and respect to some fellow bloggers. It's difficult to limit it to five but I'll do my best.

I notice your bottom bits are cut off in the photo. Was that on purpose?

Cheers.

Randall: you'd have to ask William who took it. Cameras were quite basic then and I imagine he just wanted to move in close. The point was to show the state of things, which I think it does
