Photo is P on fire-escape. I label the pictures and they lose their labels and pop up in the wrong place. However you can now compare the uniform of the forties with the uniforms of the 1900's or thereabouts.
Tres jolie.
I don't think they starch now, do they? Still, I remember my cousin and her batch mates being very fastidious.
