There's a great new show of Rodin in St James' from 7 Jun to 27 July. It includes one of the other reduced size versions of the Kiss. and several other well-known works. I walk past the full-size 'Burghers of Calais' (by Parliament) fairly often and there is a cast of its maquette also in the show:

Link to the catalogue here: well worth a click through to the direct pages showing the individual works on show.

What a thoughtful, classy thing to do. Two masterpieces; The Kiss and your son.

Hi Pat,

I suspect you have found a different exhibition. The one in Duke Street/St James is a walk-in gallery, although the Rodin pieces on show are pretty pricey.

I did (today) take a detour to have a peek - and was the only person at the time. Pictures/blog entry to follow over the next few days.

Rashbre: thanks for that. I'll pop over soon. I haven't heard from Naomi for a while and just realised I have a new email address and
fear I was half way through letting people know when I was ill. Very disorganised.
