The misty pic is the award-winner. Hope you're well + happy.
Exile: yes thank you I am both well and happy but seem to get busier and busier. Back to the book this week. Promise.
Wonderful photos and I love the Bridge Photo.
I know about Lisbon, mentioned in many books and films but have never really seen any photos of the city.
This is not how I thought Lisbon looked so now I will google.
This trip sounds like so much fun.
cheers, parsnip
Love the Moody, misty mid morning pic. Everything you could want in an arty pic AND alliteration to go with it :)
Parsnip: it looks different every time I go but the Columbus monument is a useful landmark. It has a good atmosphere and lovely pastries.
Kim: Thank you Kim. I shall wallow in your praise for the rest of the day.
Beautiful with fog and mist. Can you go inside the Columbus monument?
Granny Annie: to my shame I don't know as I have always seen it en passant but I'm betting no.
Oh yes you can.....

I'm sending one of my people to explore it at the end of March.
Beautiful shoots, Pat.
I love the Monument, and how the bridge fades at a distance. :)
Lovely, Pat!
The fog and mist are nicer when they're part of a holiday!!
Sx
Lovely. XXX
AndrewM: you win. A definite excursion the next time I'm in Lisbon.
Vid Digger: thank you. I think my old camera prefers murky light.
Scarlet: agreed - in small doses. They add atmosphere.
Maurcheen: thank you :-)
just lovely.
Mage: thank you:-)
Damn your posts are not showing up in my reader but I'm getting posts from other bloggers that were written 5 years ago!
Love the misty bridge shot!
Joey: naughty Joey's reader!
That Columbus monument is spectacular! Also love the bridge picture, which has that hand finished fine art print look about it.
Rashbre: nice to hear that. I feel my photography is not brilliant lately.
