Condolences. But that's a nice, long life for a pup. I'm glad it wasn't an untimely passing.
Good age for a Staffie! Lovely dogs! xx
Thank you for honouring our beautiful boy on your blog. We miss him so much.
Exile and John: it was a good age, He hasn't been himself lately but has been nursed with love and devotion by his Mum and family.
Jenny: He'll always be remembered with love - he had such a physical presence and could make you smile just looking at you.
What a lovely photo of him in the field of flowers. What a wonderful way to remember him.
cheers, parsnip
It's a sad part of the human condition that 'our best friends' have a much shorter lifespan than we do.
Parsnip: I like to think he is now running wild amongst the poppies once more.
Mike ad Ann: Andrew told me that in Human terms he was about 100.
Bless, now he is in doggy heaven with as many bones and rubber balls as he could wish for.
Awww, that's sad, Pat.
I like to think that when doggies die, they are happily frolicking with other doggies and other animals in a lovely place.
So sorry to read of dear Buster's passing, Pat...He looks so adorable and lovable in that picture.....It's always so hard to lose a four legged loved one. They bring so much love and sweetness into your life, and such fun, too! RIP, dear Buster.
So sorry to lose this special friend.
Always very sad to lose a beloved pet.

Sweet pup. So hard to lose our beloved pets even when 14 years is a long time, it's never long enough.
