Home. Home again.
I like to be here when I can.
When I come home cold and tired
It's good to warm my bones beside the fire.
That's from an old Pink Floyd song. It's good to have you back, safe and sound.
Your garden is beautiful, Pat! Things are just starting to green up here in the centre of Canada. My tulips are poking up about 4" and there are buds on the trees. We've had a long brutal winter and spring has so far been chilly. Not really conducive to plant life so seeing yours in full bloom is lovely.
I'm sure it is lovely to come home to all that. Can't wait to hear about your trip.
Welcome back! The garden is looking lovely as usual! xx
Exile on Pain Street, *Breath reprise*, The Dark Side of the Moon!
Aquilegia a.k.a. Grannies nightcaps, a lovely - we have a gardenfull at present - so many different colours and flower forms. What a lovely time to come home with roses just coming into their full flowering. Welcome home, Pat.
What a lovely "home" to come home to. The garden look specular as usual.
cheers, parsnip
I was thinking exactly the same thing as Parsnip---What a lovely "Welcome Home", my dear Pat.....Everything blooming and so colorful.....
I look forward to hearing about your trip, dear Pat
Welcome home, Pat! I hope you are blooming too!
Sx
Exile: what a pleasant voice you have:)
Ponita: I was reminded of the pure, crystal air you have over in Canada whilst in Norway.
Judy: Photos first - then I'll open up.
John: thank you:)
Mike and Ann: your spelling looks more convincing then mine. It looks like a good year for roses here.
Parsnip: yes and sucks to the people who think I should move into something smaller:)
Naomi: my photos - as usual - are taking some sorting and the paper work is mounting steadily.
Scarlet: I do feel blooming - exhausted but happy ish.
Welcome back, Pat. I'm so happy to see you again, and your garden, oh, the garden, how absolutely bloomin' lovely (pardon the pun).
Exile, JohnG, one of my favourite songs.
GG: puns are always welcome:)
