I love these pictures so. Does EVERYTHING look like this there?

Pat said...

Granny Annie: not quite. Somerset is special which is why we chose to retire here. There are more drmatic places but here is comparativey unspoilt and has an old world charm.

Everything looks so lush and beautiful, Pat....The Flowers...Oh My! GORGEOUS! Each of these places look so very charming, and I can only assume the food was good, too!

Parsnip: for years I have wanted pale pink peonies and this is the first year I have had them.
Let's do a house swap this summer:)
Re words and pictures I went back to my old method but only dared the minimum to start with.

Naomi; the special thing about the three Inns was their cuisine which at this moment in time is exceptional.

The Smugglers looks suitable for us and our sea dogs

Rog: and the beach is just across the road. Most of the pubs around Exmoor are dog friendly.

You know all the nice joints. If I ever get out that way I'm going to invite myself into one of your afternoons.

UB: good idea:)

Nice to see there are still some British pubs thriving! Lovely shots. And the sun came out too!

Joey: we'd be lost without them. We do our best to support them.
