What an absolute joy to gaze upon. I feel very spoilt in that I get to peek at both your garden and that of John and Gordon G up in Leicestershire.
With nearly all native trees here being evergreens I never really appreciated spring until I spent the winter of 87/88 in England (and it didn't snow!). Now I look out for the introduced plants' spring beauty (and their autumnal "turning" has been very late this year - the reds, golds and ambers are at their peak just now, the equivalent of December the first).
Thank you for sharing such beauty, Michelle and Zebby Cat downunder in Wellington, NZ
Everything looks so beautiful, Pat....I LOVE your Garden...And it really feels like it would be such a treat to sit there and look at all the lovely things in blook, while sipping a bit if Tea.....(Ahhhh, I can dream, can't I?)
Mickle: I am so glad you enjoy it. John's Dad is a much better gardener. A hug to Zebby.
Randall: thank goodness you like them. Precious little else here at the moment.
Joh: :)
Parsnip: the looking good is mainly down to Karen. So much happenning this week-end - the Derby, Jubilee etc. I must try to switch off and switch on - if you see what I mean.
Joey : I'll bet it looks lovely. In any case a weed is just a plant in the wrong place.
Grand mother but still a girl at heart. Married to MTL(my true love)after a separation of 30 years. Had three careers: trained paediatric nurse, National photographic model and business woman. Now settled in SW and enjoying our five children and ten grandchildren and making the most of what time we have left.
In January 2013 I lost MTL.

I do love your photo posts. Lovely, as always.
Cheers.
Looking good, Mum2!
Oh Pat, your garden is wonderful. It looks like you have been hard at work.
What a pretty view from your window.
Have a lovely weekend. Summer has really come here in Tucson 106 today and climbing...
cheers, parsnip
I have to say your garden looks a lot healthier than ours! :D Unless weeds count as beautiful blooms.
Lovely. Brings me back to earth after a difficult couple of days, thank you Pat dearest xx
Oh, this reminds me, we have a garden now and I have to show you pictures! :)
Lovely, lovely flowers, Pat! You put me to shame.
Your garden looks stunning, Pat. Hasn't it been a good year for aquilegias?
Gosh - a mowed lawn. Ours is turning into something resembling a dandilion meadow...

Marjoein: yes please.
Judy: well it always looks great to me.
Mike and Ann: yes and I'm pleased with the way the roses are going.
Kim: I've alwys wanted a wild flower garden.
Naomi: the trick is to make oneself actually sit in it. Fortunately MTL is brilliant at sitting in the garden:)
Map: the top of the morning to you.xx
May is the best. At lest, out here it is. Now that we slip into the summer months, things will slowly start to torch.
UB: whereas here - anything can happen as far a weather is concerned - and I think it will rain on her Maj's parade tomorrow, which is a shame.
incredibly beautiful - zen abounds! ;)
Jenear: I think you are right.
